Lake Ridge Neighborhood Mobility Master Plan

Fort Lauderdale’s Transportation & Mobility Department, in cooperation with T.Y. Lin International Group, is seeking your input to develop a Neighborhood Mobility Master Plan for Lake Ridge.  This is your opportunity to help shape the future of your neighborhood with regard to vehicular, pedestrian and bike traffic!

The first public meeting was held on November 20, 2014, and there will be at least two more public meetings.  Please submit your ideas — by December 5 if at all possible — to Ms. Elizabeth Van Zandt, Mobility Manager, City of Fort Lauderdale.

Although you can speak directly to Ms. Van Zandt at 954-828-3796, or send her a “free form” email at EVanZandt@fortlauderdale.gov, it will be easier for all concerned if you use the preformatted COMMENT FORM.

The easiest way to use the Comment Form is to click the above link and then save the form that appears to your disk.  Then open that form on your computer and you will be able to type in your comments (within Adobe Acrobat), using your mouse or the Tab key to navigate from item to item.  Finally, save the Comment Form after filling in the requested information, and email the saved Comment Form as an attachment to EVanZandt@fortlauderdale.gov.  (It will be helpful, although not required, if you would use “Lake Ridge Mobility Plan Comments” as the Subject line of your email.)

Alternatively, you can simply print a copy of the Comment Form, fill it out in longhand, and drop it in the mail to: Ms. Elizabeth Van Zandt, Mobility Manager, City of Fort Lauderdale, 290 NE 3rd Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301.

Thank you for taking the time to help improve your neighborhood!

PS:  You may find it helpful to take a look at a SAMPLE Comment Form that has already been filled out.  Of course, if you wish to start from the sample form, feel free to add or subtract comments and to edit as you see fit.  At the least, you will certainly want to replace the contact information for the fictional “Robert Sample” with your own contact information.
